Edwina is a Business and Project Manager with extensive experience in the events, prop-making and outdoor arts sectors.
During 5 years as Kinetika’s business manager Edwina led projects such as high profile prop makes for London 2012 Olympic celebrations and the European Games in Azerbaijan, as well as making sure the company ran smoothly to support the more local community engagement projects. It was a varied role, with multiple strands of responsibility, especially since Kinetika is an NPO funded by Arts Council England and has a commercial trading arm.
Now based in Cheshire, Edwina still works part time for Kinetika remotely and is finding time to do some more creative work.
As well as being a phenomenal maker and project manager, Edwina’s really helped to get us into a healthy position for the future.
I feel confident that the new business model she’s been so instrumental in helping us develop will be sustainable for years to come. She’s really pushed forward the design strand of our business, making it possible for us to win commercial jobs like the recent projects in Baku and Milan, which in turn subsidise our charitable work with communities, but also finding a way to translate our hand-painted silks into digitally printed products.
Edwina has built solid foundations for Kinetika’s future, and I want to thank her from the bottom of my heart.
Thank you for your contribution to the operation and development of Kinetika not only during my time as Chair but also for a good number of years before I came on the scene.
Your commitment and expertise has been instrumental in not only ensuring the smooth running of an ever expanding workload but also in developing the business to position the organisation as a world leader in the outdoor arts field.
This risk assessment is a thing of GREAT BEAUTY. It should be framed!
